Great Reputation in the Community

We hired Mitchel to do our tile work in our new construction. If we had known he was so talented, we would have hired him to do so much more in our new home. You can see the tile work at our website below. Mitchel does superior work. He does what he says he will do, shows up when he says he will and charges what he agreed to in the beginning. That says alot after dealing with so many sub-contractors in our house! He was also very talented in coming up with ideas and solutions to problem areas. We could trust him completly with his judgement and his character. We highly recommend Mitchel. We own a restaurant in the area and know a lot of people. He has a great reputation and is someone who is trusted in the community. We have never heard anything negative about him in his personal or professional life. Talk to him today about doing something great for you!

Drummond's Recommend from 2 Perspectives

28 August 2007

In 2003 our little cabin in the woods needed many repairs and we wanted more room and light. We had a general idea of what we wanted; a larger living room and a covered porch. I wanted lots of light with big windows, two sets of French doors, a tile floor, natural wood, used brick and earth tone colors. One thing led to another and we asked Mitchel to remodel the kitchen and bath.

Mitchel had such innovative ideas that he knew how to incorporate my wishes into a functional, low maintenance, high quality, and unique product.
I don’t think anyone else could have done what Mitchel did. His spontaneous ideas made our little cabin into a beautiful home.

In 2003 we needed extensive repairs on our home, i.e. front porch removed, new siding, new windows, roof replaced, portions of foundation replaced and a large new addition constructed on the front of the building.

Mitchel and I sat at the kitchen table and used notebook paper and discussed the scope of work and dimensions. My wife told him what she wanted it to look like. She also had the kitchen and bathroom redone.

Throughout the construction process, Mitchel used only high quality material and utilized proper construction techniques and was very patient with my wife’s insistence of what d├ęcor she wanted.

Mitchel is hard working, is honest and has integrity. I highly recommend him to work for you.

My Place Looks Great!

May 2, 2005

I am very happy to write a letter of recommendation for Mitchel Tain.

Mitchel was the contractor I hired to renovate and add on to my home in Idaho City. He has been very easy to work with. Mitch is a master craftsman, able to renovate and piece thing together as well as to plan and ad new structures.

His choice of subcontractors was good. He completed the work in a timely manner. He doggedly worked at a couple of areas the presented a challenge…and he won!

My place looks great!

Remodels in Idaho City

Mitchel Tain joined the Idaho City Volunteer Fire Department in 1989 and has been an active, involved member ever since. In 1998 a new fire station was built and I was involved with the project management.

Based on his construction experience, Mitchel was selected for the position of building foreman. He poured over plans, hired and supervised workers, scheduled the various phases of construction and lined up volunteers in the construction trades. The result was a fire station the community could be proud of.

Over the years, I have hired Mitchel to do many projects on my house and property. These have ranged from small projects, such as fence, wood shed and roof repair, to a major bathroom remodel.
I recommend Mitchel to anyone in need of repair, remodel or new construction.

Mitchel Tain has worked on various projects in and around our home. The most extensive was a total bathroom remodel that took place in the middle of winter. From a woman’s perspective, I found Mitchel to be clean and considerate. There wasn’t much dirt or snow tracked through the house and he screened the work area when he did anything that threw dust ad particles into the air. HE worked efficiently and the result was a very nice new bathroom.

Mitchel and I were friends when the bathroom remodel began. After having him in my home for weeks, I actually like him better than I had before, which says a lot about a workman.
